SELF-ADVOCACY

Resources Menu

People who know how to speak up for themselves about the things they want out of life are happier and more satisfied. That is why we encourage and support opportunities that build the skills people need to advocate for themselves and others.

Self-advocacy is when one speaks up for oneself.

Advocacy is when one speaks up for other people.

There are several organizations in our area and across Ohio that help people with disabilities become stronger advocates for themselves and others.
